Mariana Cisneros Silva, born in Valencia Carabobo State - Venezuela. She is a teaching professional in Special Education graduate from the University of Carabobo with a postgraduate degree in Educational Management, PhD in Education. In her native country, she taught at the different levels and modalities of the Venezuelan Educational System. In her 27-year career as a teacher, she gained experience in the implementation and evaluation of educational, welfare and social programs aimed at children, young people and adults with intellectual, emotional and/or motor needs that make it difficult for them to adapt to conventional educational environments. Specialized in the creation of differentiated pedagogical strategies, using specialized methods and resources to facilitate learning, inclusion and active participation in educational and social contexts. She currently resides in the USA where she works as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy (ABA).
